What is your cancelation policy?

3 days prior to reservation: refund of your deposit less $5 processing fee
Inside of 3 days: Deposit is forfeited

What are check-in/check-out times?

RV Park & Campsites

Check In: 2:00 PM

Is my pet allowed?

Around the property? Yes as long as they are leashed and cleaned up after.

At my RV Site?  Yes

At my Campsite? Yes

In the cabins? No

In the store? No

On a float trip? In Canoes & Kayaks - Yes, In Rafts - No

What's included with the cabins?

Included: Towels, Linens, Pots, Pans, Dishes, Bar of soap

Not Included: Daily Housekeeping, Shampoo, Conditioner, Lotion, Washer/Dryer (Coin-Op on property)

No Smoking, No Pets allowed in cabins.

Can I use my RV in the Campground instead of the RV Park?

Our campground sites are not as long as the sites in our RV Park.  But we do allow smaller RVs (Less and 22') in some of our electric sites in the campground.
Note: those sites do not include water/sewer hookups, and are 30 amp service.

Will the water be on in the RV Park by "X" Month

We typically, turn our water on sometime late March/Early April. It all depends on the overnight temperatures in the long range forecast.  If the water on your site is not on, we always have our filling station on where you can fill your RV tanks.  Our shower houses will also be in operation. We strive to keep our water on through the end of the season as well, weather permitting.

Are tents allowed at the RV Sites?

Yes, you are allowed 1 tent per RV site for your group.  However, depending on the size of your group, a per person camping charge might be added to your reservation.

Do you allow Golf Carts/UTVs/ATVs/Dirt Bikes?

Allowed: Golf Carts  

Not Allowed: Any side-by-side, 4-wheeler, UTV, utility style vehicle, dirt bikes, or other cart/recreation vehicles that is not a golf cart.

How do I reserve my float trip?

You can reserve a boat type (Raft, Canoe, or Kayak) with your reservation.
Before your float trip you must check in with the store to schedule your float time, and sign your paper work.

Can I request a specific float?

The conditions of the river change weekly (and sometimes daily). 
Which floats you can take can only be determined when you check in for your float.

Can I use my own Canoe/Kayak/Raft

Yes - We do offer a access to use our private river access and shuttle service for a fee.

For safety reasons we cannot allow private vehicles on our river access.  Let HVO take care of the work of hauling your boat, and shuttle you to or from our private access. 

Shuttles cannot be booked online so please call to arrange.

Do you offer Wi-Fi in the park?

Currently we do not offer Wi-Fi at HVO.  Due to being in a rural area, speeds for internet are currently quite limited, and the guest experience when trying to use it would be very poor.  We will continue to monitor speed availability in the area, and hope to make it available at some point in the future.

Can I bring/use a hammock?

Only freestanding (with a frame) hammocks are allowed. Hammocks cannot be attached to any tree or fixture on HVO property.

I'm staying at HVO, but my friends/family are not.  Can they come visit?

If you are a paying guest, you are allowed to have visitors at HVO if they pay a daily guest fee.  Each visiting guest without a reservation will be able to use the amenities at HVO park for a fee.

I'm not staying with HVO, but can I come use the fishing/property/river/amenities?

We currently do not offer individual daily passes.  Only people with reservations, or paying visitors to other guests will be able to use the amenities.
